This tour allows you to step back in time and experience Istanbul’s millennia-old history, walking through streets that hosted royal processions alongside an expert local guide.
Starting from Çemberlitaş, our route takes you down Divan Yolu to uncover stories of the Byzantine Hippodrome, the revolutionary Nika Riots, the historic Sultanahmet Prison, and ancient prophecies surrounding the Serpentine Column.

28 Haziran 2026Our guide spoke excellent English and was super knowledgeable about the history. The tour pace was good, though it involved a bit more walking than expected under the sun. Make sure to bring comfortable shoes and hat!
