This Cappadocia hot air balloon ride is a sunrise flight of about 60 minutes over the fairy chimneys and valleys around Göreme. It is sold on its own, so you can book it by itself or add it to any TourQuaz Cappadocia itinerary.
A driver collects you from your hotel in the Göreme, Ürgüp or Nevşehir area before dawn and takes you to the launch field. After landing come a toast with champagne or juice, a flight certificate and a light breakfast, then the drive back to your hotel with the morning still ahead.

A driver then takes you to the balloon launch field, where dozens of balloons are inflated at once in the half-light.

At the launch field you watch the crew lay out and inflate your balloon while you wait for first light. Tea and coffee are available. It is an unhurried start to the morning, and a good moment for photos before the flight begins.

SunriseThe Balloon Flight
The flight lasts about 60 minutes with a licensed pilot, who handles the flight path while you simply watch. You drift low over Göreme’s fairy chimneys and valleys, then climb for a wider view across the whole Cappadocia basin as the sun comes up.
