- Natural light and ventilation. Some deeper cave rooms have few windows. If you want a bright room, check photos and ask.
- Heating and cooling. Rock stays cool in summer, but winters are cold, so confirm heating works well if you travel outside summer.
- Stairs and access. Many hotels climb the hillside with steps and narrow lanes. If anyone in your group has limited mobility, request a ground-level room and ask how luggage is carried.
